Why Honeybee Pantry? Bee pollen...

see Bee Pollen information below,

and other subtopics for

Bee Propolis and Royal Jelly

I chose the name "HONEYBEE", not only for its symbolism of INDUSTRY and SELF-RELIANCE,
but for my love and appreciation of the Honeybee smiley, and what this little "underestimated and under-appreciated wonder" does for our health and vitality!

"The honey bee is a fascinating insect, serving as a testimony to mankind.

No one member of the hive lives for itself, functioning instead as a member working for the greater good of the whole. A bee will literally work its wings off and then crawl homeward, expending its life to see the hive continue on.

If left to itself, the bee would go on in perfect order, continuing in its function, the irreplaceable pollinator of plants and crops." (taken from www.commonsensemarket.com)

Raw honey and Bee pollen are invaluable to our lives and the well-being of them, true "medicines", foods!

I chose "PANTRY" to represent all the beautiful basic and pure foods easily attainable now,

to store "long term" in our very own PANTRY!

Thus, the "imagery and representation" of living our lives in appreciation of what has been created for us and using them to benefit our lives, being productive and self-reliant; "acting upon" the repeated warnings to "prepare now while the sun is shining"!

"Mother Nature

(what God has created for our use on this earth)

is the finest nutritionist,

scientist, chemist, etc. and she always provides the best diets for her many creatures."

James D. Ford, Jr.

**Find a local bee keeper and obtain your year supply of 'RAW HONEY'!!

Raw honey has been the healer internally and externally for ages!

Nothing can replace Mother Nature!  What you find on the grocery store shelves is NOT "Raw"; it has been heated; thus killing all benefits/nutrients of the honey; it is just for the taste only!

When purchasing raw honey from your local "source", they will most likely offer fresh or dehydrated BEE POLLEN for sale as well. Try some out if you like!

This has long been affectionately termed, "food or ambrosia of the gods" smiley by leading chemists and scientists.

Dr. Carlton Fredericks, world-wide recognized health authority, sums it up as follows:

"Honeybee pollen...

...is the only super-perfect food on this earth! This statement has been proven so many times in the laboratories around the world by a chemical analysis that it is NOT subject to debate nor challenge!"

Bee Pollen is considered an energy and nutritive tonic in Chinese medicine!

"One of the most interesting facts about bee pollen is that it cannot be synthesized in a laboratory!
When researchers take away a bee's pollen-filled comb and feed her man made pollen, the bee dies even though all the known nutrients are present in the lab-produced synthesized food. Many thousands of chemical analyses of bee pollen have been made with the very latest diagnostic equipment, but there are still some elements present in bee pollen that
science cannot identify. The bees add some mysterious "extra" of their own. These unidentifiable elements may very well be the reason bee pollen works so spectacularly against so many diverse conditions of ill health." (see www.mercola.com - type in "bee pollen" in search box)

Honey, itself, is mentioned 68 times in the Bible as a specially blessed food! (meaning honey and all its forms)...as in the form of bee pollen, the residue that falls from the bees legs while entering the hive to deposit honey.

...as in the form of bee propolis, gathered (not made by the bees) from "sap" of certain trees (used by the trees themselves to fight infection!) It is taken back to the hive where the bees add their own secretions to it. They then distribute this "metabolized antibiotic" in every corner and comb in the hive. See "propolis" subtopic for more information.

Some scientists believe that the inside of the hive is more sterile than a modern hospital!

28 minerals are found in the body.

14 are essential vital elements present in such small amounts they are called "trace elements".

Bee Pollen (completely harmless) contains ALL 28 minerals!

It contains all the essential components of life!!
It is the food of the young bee. It is approximately 40% protein. It is a natural complete nourishing food containing nearly ALL the nutrients required by humans. Incredible!

For 1 teaspoon of bee pollen granules,

it takes 1 bee working 8 hours a day for 1 month to gather!

Aw - bless its little heart!!

BENEFITS of the Pollen:
(refer to next subtopic "Russian Story..." as to how much to take)

It does increase the body's own immunity and also stimulates and rejuvenates glandular activity.

It causes the human organism to throw off poisons and wastes, by destroying harmful bacteria in the intestines and improving assimilation and elimination.

It has age-retarding and rejuvenating properties. surprise Early aging can be caused by faulty elimination of waste products, or by lack of essential nutritive material!

It stimulates the growth of new skin tissue. If offers effective protection against dehydration and injects new life into dry skin cells.

Ancient texts unearthed in Babylon, China, Egypt, and Persia

agree that this revered food contains

the secret of eternal youth & health!

*For Asthma and Allergies ~ (refer to next subtopic as to "how" to take with an allergy issue)

Those who are allergic to plant pollens usually respond well to the ingestion of bee pollen.

The way it works is that pollen from the flowers, once they are processed by the bees, lose their property as active allergens and act more like homeopathic medicines - actually slowly stimulating the body's immune system to develop a tolerance to allergens!

The New York Cancer Research Institute stated in 1965 that beekeepers, as a group, have the lowest incidence of cancer of all occupations monitored. Pollen, even more than honey, may be the reason beekeepers seem to have such...
